Texas Centennial

Texas Centennial introduced in 1935, is a sport of the hybrid tea rose, President Herbert Hoover. The outstanding red blend flowers sprinkled with gold highlights have light centers. As big and brassy as its namesake, this is a good specimen plant for color in the landscape. The rose won the Portland Gold Medal in 1935 distinguishing it from other introductions that year.
